How Does Island Fresh Work:

Island Fresh Delivery co-operates with Local Harvest LLC. Delivering local produce from over 50 different farms per week. Island Fresh Delivery brings the farm to your table. Delivering variety boxes of fruit and veggies to your homes and offices in East, Central, Upcountry, West and South Maui.

What comes in the box?

You have the option to fully customize and shop from the web store each week. We source from various farmers located within Hawaii. By default the boxes include a mix of local fruits and vegetables, Natural or Organically grown, (non-GMO) based on what is in season. From Tomatoes to Turmeric root, Mangos to Mixed Salad Greens.

Veggies (may be included but not limited to): Green/Red Leaf Lettuce, Butter Lettuce, Romaine, Jr. Romaine, Baby Romaine, Arugula, Kale, Chard, Collard Greens, Cucumber, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Beets, Carrots, Corn, Broccoli, Avocado, Bell Pepper, Eggplant, Maui Onion, Acorn/Kabocha/Butternut Squash, Watermelon Radish, Red Radish, Daikon, String Beans, Snow Peas, Fenneland more!

Fruits (may be included but not limited to): Lemons, Limes, Oranges, Papayas, Bananas Cherimoya, Jackfruit, Persimmon, Mango, Tangerine, Tangelos, Grapefruit, Pomelo, Watermelon, Strawberries, Blueberries, Black Raspberries, Rambutan, Longans, Lychee, Figs, Breadfruit, Starfruit, Lillikoi, Dragonfruit,  and more!

When and where do you deliver?

Tuesday 4pm – 8pm: Lahaina, Kaanapali, Honokowai, Napili, Kahana, Kapalua
Wednesday 7am – 1pm: Kula, Pukalani, Makawao, Haiku, Paia, Kahului, Wailuku
Wednesday 4pm – 8pm: Kihei, Makena, Wailea

You can also choose weekly or bi-weekly delivery. Weekly is one delivery per week. Bi-weekly is one delivery every other week.

How much does it weigh?

The weight will depend on what is in the box each week. Like shopping at a farmers market, the value of each box will equal the total of all the different items added. We pay farmers fair market prices for produce and list our prices at fair market value on the web store. 

Are there any fees?

There is only a $5.00 home delivery fee.

What should I do with my empty box?

Recycle & Re-use! On the day of your next scheduled delivery, simply, leave the box you received from your previous delivery outside for us to pick-up (folded or unfolded). Our delivery driver will give you a new box with your order.

Can I cancel or hold a delivery?

Yes, you can cancel or hold at any time before Saturday at 11pm previous to your order. We place harvest orders to the farms on Sundays and Mondays.

How do payments work?

Payment for your subscription will be processed on the Friday before your delivery each week. We use a debit or credit card for payments. M/C, Visa, AMX, Discover.

Can I customize the box?

Yes! You can customize, switch, add, remove produce items from your box and add on locally made products from the web store each week. All orders must be placed before 11pm Saturday deadline. If there are particular items you do not want delivered by default we will customize the box accordingly. What is the fresh produce guarantee?

We work very hard to provide high quality produce which is often picked within 24 hours of delivery. If for any reason you receive produce that is not fresh, we will provide replacement items or a discount on your next delivery. Your satisfaction is a priority for us!

What if I am not home for delivery?

If you are going to be gone for a few hours, you can leave out a cooler and ice pack. The delivery driver will put the produce into the cooler to keep it nice and fresh.
